MTV INVADES U of MARYLAND CAMPUS

mtvU has once again set out with a multi-city tour of college campuses to spread its message of accessible music and activism, this time stopping at the University of Maryland. Headlined by Wyclef Jean and featuring The Bravery, Cobra Starship, Simple Plan and The Spill Canvas, the tour is aimed at bringing seasoned music vets and hot new acts to universities around the country while at the same time keeping the price affordable for the poor student set (most tickets cost students only about $5). The tour continued on to Philadelphia and Boston, rocking and rousing college students from their dorm rooms.
