A one-piece outfit is always a gamble.  It has the potential to look pretty fantastic but many times it ends up looking a janitor who wanted to jazz up his Dickies; luckily for Michelle Williams (the singer, not the actress) it turned out to be the former rather than the later.  We spotted Michelle arriving at the TRL studios in Times Square yesterday to promote her new album Unexpected; well, Michelle, I didn't expect you to look so good!  I'm not really crazy about the fake boobs (and yes guys, they are fake, she's freely admitted it) but I won't let that take anything away from her ability to pull off a shiny jumpsuit. Well done.

     

It was a super hot day in New York yesterday (only to be followed by an even hotter day today) so it was no surprise when we spotted Michelle Williams and her daughter Matilda out in the early hours trying to avoid the afternoon heat.  Both were dressed in summery clothing, especially Matilda who had on a blue sun dress and matching sandals.  I sincerely hope she found a good sprinkler to play in!

     

We spotted Michelle and Matilda Rose out for a walk today.  The mom and daughter made their way around New York City park while Matilda sipped on a cup of sumthin', a chocolate milkshake perhaps?  Michelle's current project is Shutter Island, directed by Martin Scorsese and co-starring Leonardo DiCaprio.  The plot (courtesy of IMBD); the drama is set in 1954, U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels is investigating the disappearance of a murderess who escaped from a hospital for the criminally insane and is presumed to be hiding on the remote Shutter Island. 

     

We spotted Michelle Williams and her daughter Matilda out for a walk in NYC yesterday.  The pair were giggling with friends and Matilda was playing with her toes in the stroller; it's nice to see these two smile.

    

Little Matilda is growing up so fast!  We spotted Michelle and Matilda scooting around their Brooklyn neighborhood.  Matilda had on her pink helmet as well as a pea coat and mini Uggs.  When she had her fill, Mom Michelle helped her carry her scooter back up the stairs. 

Michelle Williams took daughter Matilda Rose for a peaceful stroll through their Brooklyn neighborhood today.  All bundled up and holding hands, the two were joined by Michelle's mom Carla and some friends.  It seems that Michelle is trying to get back to normal after the tragic death of Heath Ledger last month.  It's very bittersweet how much little Matilda looks like her dad, Michelle commented on the resemblance, saying that her daughter is "the spitting image of her father. All that I can cling to is his presence inside her that reveals itself every day."  Our hearts go out to Michelle and Matilda as they try to find peace and get on with their lives.

It wouldn't be a week in mags without some speculation about Angelina's pregnancy or the root of Britney's problems. Both these guys get two covers apiece.  Christina shows off baby Max in People (How much $$$ did she get for that??) and Michelle finally lays Heath to rest at home in Australia on the cover of Us Weekly - bit depressing by comparison.  What will Brit's legal woes bring next, and whose baby will grace next week's covers? We'll just have to wait and see folks...

As painful as it might be, life must go on for heartbroken Michelle Williams after the death of her former actor boyfriend, Heath Ledger. Following his fun-filled funeral in Australia, where the star was remembered by friends and family who romped in the sea, it was back to reality for Michelle. We caught up with actress filming on location in NYC. But, it seems, she's still not quite ready to deal with the on-going media attention.

After finally being laid to rest in Australia over the weekend, Heath Ledger's friends and family had an impromptu memorial for him by jumping into the ocean.  After attending the funeral in Perth, guests then attended the Indiana Tea House on Cottesloe Beach, a place that Heath loved.  As the sun was setting, many of the guests jumped into the ocean, including Michelle who was then surrounded by friends.  As the mourners stood on the beach hugging and soaking wet one of them commented "It's exactly what Heath would have wanted."  They left after the sun set and Michelle had a smile on her face.

Michelle Williams has just released her first official statement since the death of her former boyfriend and father to her child Matilda, Heath Ledger.  "Please respect our need to grieve privately. My heart is broken. I am the mother of the most tender-hearted, high-spirited, beautiful little girl who is the spitting image of her father. All that I can cling to is his presence inside her that reveals itself every day.
