Cuz it's upfront.  Yesterday MTV hosted its "upfronts"; the process a network undergoes to showcase it's best and brightest with the hope of gaining big bucks from advertisers. Everyone from Justin Timberlake to Lauren Conrad, Ashanti to Stephen Colbert were on hand at the MTV studios to preview what they have in store for the fall, such as 19 new episodes of The Hills!

     

Madonna, who could normally pack a stadium, gave fans a treat last night when she played  New York City's Roseland Ballroom, an intimate setting that only holds a few thousand.  The pop queen played a brief, 30-minute set to promote her new album Hard Candy.  Of course Madge had to play her first single, 4 Minutes, which wouldn't be complete with out bringing Justin out on stage.  The two got down with some dirty dancing and Madonna proved that she is just as relevant as when she released Like a Virgin, you know back when Justin was just learning how to tie his shoes!

      

Cameron Diaz's ex-boyfriends, Justin Timberlake and John Mayer, came out to show their support at a memorial service yesterday in honor of Cameron's late father Emilio.  Emilio Diaz, only 58,  died suddenly last week of pneumonia and yesterday the Diaz family had a "celebration of life" at Mahe in Los Angeles to honor him.  Guests did not dress in drab black, but rather wore brightly colored attire and gave toasts to honor their friend and relative.  Cameron issued a statement saying "His humor and spirit will always live on in our hearts."

     

The Queen of Pop, Madonna, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last night.  Held at the Waldorf-Astoria in NYC, Madonna was inducted in by Justin Timberlake and honored with  cover songs by none other than Iggy and The Stooges. During Justin's speech he talked about how Madonna once gave him a B-12 shot in his butt while they were working on her new album together and also took a couple of shots at Brit.  Speaking of the infamous VMA kiss Madonna and Brit shared " [she] found time to publicly kiss someone I may or may not have kissed myself – while I was in the audience. Of course, you all know who I'm talking about: Sean Penn."

Señor Sexy Back made an appearance at Club Butter in NYC last night looking extremely chipper.  Apparently Justin was only in the club for about 20 minutes before he turned around and left, it's probably because he was disappointed that I wasn't there.  Sorry I couldn't make it Jus, but feel free to meet me tonight at Club Margarine (aka my love nest) tonight in Brooklyn.  It's gonna be a happenin party!

We caught Justin Timberlake arriving at the Cystic Fibrosis Charity Event held at the Dorchester Hotel in London last night.  Going to a charity event on your birthday, aawwww!  I know its a bit of an obstructed view, but even a little Justin can go a long way.

Mr Sexy Back  celebrates his 27th birthday today.  If you feel like you might want someone to jump out of a cake for you, holla at me Justin.

They were leaving a gym in Toronto after a workout and weren 't too happy we papped them in their sweats.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel looked deliriously happy when we spotted them in Toronto today. They held hands as they strolled through the city. Relaxed. Carefree. It's amazing how Justin and Britney's fortunes have been total opposites since they split. Justin has had a series of successful relationships since splitting from his ex, and his career has seriously gone from strength to strength. Meanwhile.. Well, we don't need to spell out the difference in Britney's fortunes.

Troubled Britney Spears doesn't think she needs any help to kickstart her floundering pop career. Not even from her ex, Justin Timberlake. Word is they were all set to team up on some new material. But the Britster backed out at the last minute. The way she's going, Brit won't even get any karaoke gigs down her local bar before long.
