Happy Independence Day blog fans!  July 4, is the day we set aside each year to commemorate when we won our independence from England way back in 1776, U-S-A!

But besides celebrating our freedom we can also celebrate the other things that make this country great, like celebrities.  What would our society be today with out Paris, LiLo, Brit Brit, Heidi and all the other reality whores, I mean uber talented stars? Shows like Gossip Girl and songs like Lollipop are woven into the fabric of this great nation. 

So tomorrow afternoon when you're snacking on a hot dog, popping open a PBR or watching the fireworks with a loved one, think about your favorite celeb...sure, "talent" may be a term to use loosely this day in age, but what the hell else would you do all day at work if you didn't have these fools to look at?!

Canada must be doing something right to get so many hot people all gathered together under one roof.  Chace Crawford and Brody Jenner were just among the many presenters who handed out awards at the 2008 MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto over the weekend.  Rihanna was hot/creatively attired as she performed and took home a trophy for "Please Don't Stop the Music".  MTV reality stars Whitney Port and Kristin Cavallari who normally look great were also on hand in some atrocious dresses, I was not impressed. My favorite throw back hotties, New Kids on the Block were glad all in white, like the angels they are, even opening up the show!  I'm so glad to know that New Kids are getting some practice in, so by the time I see them in September their stage show will be perfected!

Do you think that Brody Jenner is just like, the coolest guy in town and would do anything to join his posse?!  Well if that's the case your big break might be around the corner!  Bromance (brought to us by Ryan Seacrest's production company) will pit guys across the country against each other in order to become a part of Brody's elite entourage. The guys will live in a bachelor pad and participate in group and individual activities (including skydiving) to test their trust, reliability and compatibility. Contestants will be tossed out in a "Hot Tub elimination ceremony" (seriously) and leave soaking wet, with bags in hand...but it will be totally worth it! 
Brody told Variety "I thought [the idea] was funny, and we recently lost a member of the entourage, so I thought we'd have fun with it." 
As a fan of the male species, I can't wait for this show...the homoerotism is nearly palpable!

Kanye West's "Glow in the Dark" tour is selling out and drawing rave reviews from critics.  The darling of hip hop has also had no problem attracting celebrities to his shows.  Rihanna, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have all come out to see Kanye and last night even more famous friends showed up for the "Glow in the Dark Tour 2008 Ignitied by Absolut 100" after party at GOA.  Lauren Conrad repped for The Hills and Brody Jenner was reppin' for the streetz in his sweet Public Enemy tee (Malibu is RUFF!).  Also in attendance were Kim
