Well Paris and Benji can totally double date while they're in town, because their other "rocker" couple friends are here as well. Ashlee "I may or may not be preggers, it's good pr either way" Simpson and Pete "oh yeah, I was in a band, that's why I'm famous, right?" Wentz are also spending some time in New York City. Ashlee has just returned from Europe where she was doing promotion for Bittersweet World and Pete is continuing his work on hair straightners and eye make up for dudes.

We spotted twinsie fiances Ashlee and Pete heading to a recording studio in London today. The couple have been attached at the hip these days, yet still have not confirmed rumors that Ash is pregnant...well, if her attire of choice continues to be baggy sweatshirts, I think we can suspect it's true!

The 94th annual White House Correspondents Dinner took place over the weekend and everyone from Ashlee Simpson to Pam Anderson were on hand to bring politics and the media together in one, weird mash up. Presided over by President Bush and hosted by Craig Ferguson, our favorites from The Hills, Heidi, Spencer and Lauren all showed as well as The Jonas Brothers (who were totally the most popular guests) and Gossip boy Ed Westwick and The Soup host, Joel McHale. Dubyah Bush and Spencer Pratt in the same room? The world may be coming to an end...

We managed to get some exclusive shots of Ashlee Simpson yesterday, as she rehearsed for her performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Not only can Ashlee sing though, she also dances, as in dances around the pregnancy question! She is refusing to validate the rumors, and on an appearance of Ellen this week she said "Well, that has been going on for quite a while.

Ashlee Simpson has been involved in a total media blitz this week, some of the publicity was intended and some of it clearly not. It seems pretty certain she is knocked up, what with people from her own camp leaking the story and her refusal to respond to the rumors directly, so the next question is, how far along is she??? We snapped these pictures of Ash last night at the Conde Nast Traveller's 8th Annual Hot List party in New York City. I think it must be pretty early on, (although her face looks a little full) so as she said herself "time will tell."

Is she preggers or isn't she?! And where is that engagement ring of hers?!? We spotted hot topic Ashlee Simpson her mom Tina arriving at JFK airport in New York yesterday with. Ashlee told our photographers that her ring, given to her by boyfriend Pete Wentz, was being sized. Someone from Ashlee's camp dropped a bomb yesterday that Ash was pregnant with Pete's baby, but later in the day Pete released a statement saying the rumors were false. "This is all news to me. I can't wait for the story about how I'm really in a gay relationship and this is all just a cover ... I mean really, this is crazy ... I mean we're engaged, that's true, and happy about it."
Publicity stunt from Ashlee's peeps or just trying to cover up a secret? I wouldn't be surprised either way.

Ashlee Simpson, who announced her engagement to boyfriend Pete Wentz last week, is pregnant US Weekly confirms! Despite a super Christian upbringing and an older sister who famously saved her virginity for marriage, it looks like Ashlee is doing Hollywood style! I totally predicted this last week...call it intuition but I just had a sense that there was a little something more behind this engagement than just true love. Joe Simpson must be pissed! He's got a divorceè and a baby mama on his hands now, woops.

Ashlee released an official statement. “We know there has been a lot of speculation recently about Pete and I and we wanted our fans to be the first to know, because you guys are the best.
